About the LEGO Foundation
Children learn best through play. It's an essential part of their development. When children play, they learn. They solve problems, think strategically, relate to others, and manage life’s ups and downs. Play helps children learn how to learn – and love learning. But not every child gets the time and chance to play and learn as they deserve. That's where we come in. We're making learning through play a priority for children around the world.
Why play matters
Play is something every child, everywhere in the world can do. It fuels curiosity, sparks creativity, and inspires a lifelong love of learning. Children who play pick up all sorts of skills to thrive today - and lay the foundation for a healthier life tomorrow.
We're a highly international team
We’re around 120 people, with more than 20 different nationalities and offices in five countries to bring the power of play to children everywhere. Most of us are based at our HQ in Billund, Denmark, where the LEGO story began.
We care for a work environment that’s diverse as well as inclusive and we value the uniqueness of all our people, while focusing on equal opportunities for all employees. We love to be physically together, though working remotely some days each week has become part of our ways of working.
