Student Assistant - Data Management and Analysis
Job Summary:
The LEGO Foundation is seeking a Student Assistant for our Strategic Portfolio Impact team. This role is perfect for someone with robust data management skills, expertise in Power BI, and a curiosity about the work we do at the LEGO Foundation. You will apply your skills in a dynamic environment to enhance our team’s data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management and Optimisation: Utilise Power BI to manage and optimise data accessibility for the team and decision-makers, ensuring data is presented in a user-friendly and comprehensible manner.
Analytical Problem-Solving: Address limitations within our current dataset creatively and strategically, bringing fresh insights and improving our data utilisation.
Project Management: Manage and deliver on small projects, including ad hoc requests, while working semi-independently on relevant data analysis and providing insights in various contexts.
Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the team on a major project to digitise our systems and support future data management, contributing through technical sparring and input as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree related to Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field working with data.
- Advanced skills in Power BI and data management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage small projects and deliver on ad hoc requests efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills:
- An enthusiastic approach to technical sparring.
- Keen attention to detail with an aptitude for analytical challenges.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work in a semi-independent capacity.
