Senior Evidence Manager
Are you motivated by creating real change through evidence and collaboration — and by advancing the future of children’s learning, helping them grow and thrive?
Join us in this new role, where you will guide the evidence strategy of our Nordics team and connect it with the wider knowledge efforts of the LEGO Foundation. Our ambition in Denmark is to ensure a thriving childhood for every child. We will do this by strengthening the foundations of childhood across early life, public schooling, flourishing with neurodivergence, and balanced digital lives.
You will be part of our Impact and Evidence Team, with a focus on the Nordics.
Guiding our impact and evidence approach in the Nordics
You will have three key areas of responsibility. First, you will guide our wider efforts to generate evidence and knowledge that is relevant to children’s thriving in the Nordics, and usable for decision-making, including collaboration with key research institutes and universities. Second, you will ensure that an effective evaluation framework and plan is in place across our programmatic grant-making in the Nordics, so that evidence is timely, actionable, and aligned with decision-making processes. Third, you will contribute to the overall knowledge driven culture of the LEGO Foundation - and our role as the knowledge centre of the LEGO Ecosystem.
Your key responsibilities are as follows:
Guide the evidence agenda for the Nordics Team, enhancing evidence-led programming that improves outcomes for children and links evidence generation to the decisions it is intended to inform.
Work with research institutions, partners, and stakeholders to generate high-quality, decision-relevant evidence that informs practice and policy, including the conditions needed for its effective use.
Provide evidence guidance throughout programme design and delivery, helping teams apply research and data to shape effective interventions and embed evidence in their decision-making processes.
Synthesise and embed insights from grant-making in the Nordics within the LEGO Foundation to enhance collaborative learning and build a knowledge-driven culture that promotes the application of lessons.
Represent the LEGO Foundation in key evidence and knowledge forums in the Nordics and beyond.
Evidence driven and partnership builder
We are looking for a strategic, evidence-informed profile/colleague with a deep personal commitment to children’s development and education in Denmark. You bring a collaborative, curious mindset, enabling you to work effectively with researchers, practitioners, and colleagues across the LEGO Foundation and wider LEGO Ecosystem. Your ability to connect insights, learnings, and relationships enables you to craft programmes that are grounded in evidence and focused on improving outcomes for children.
You will have the following qualifications:
Experience in the design and delivery of research programmes, particularly in areas linked to children’s learning, development, and educational systems.
A proficient understanding of impact measurement and evidence-based approaches.
Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering strategies that translate insights into action, enabling organisations to align mission, decision-making, and measurable results.
Familiarity with the early learning and education landscapes in Denmark.
Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken).
Furthermore, you can identify with the following personal qualities:
A strategic thinker who can connect evidence, practice, and context and then communicate this simply and effectively to others.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
A skilled relationship-builder who can work across research, practice, and organisational teams, navigating diverse perspectives and fostering trust at all levels.
The location is Billund, Denmark.
